They grow up so fast …
Australia’s very own royal Crown Princess Mary has shared a series of adorable snaps of her twins to mark their eighth birthday.
Taken by the princess herself in rare private photos of the young royals, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine of Denmark are seen posing together as they enjoy a peaceful walk in the Danish countryside.
In three pictures shared to the Danish Palace’s official Instagram page (Det Danske Kongehus), the youngsters are also seen in candid separate shots, as thousands of fans wish the pair a happy birthday in the comments.
It is understood the siblings celebrated their birthday where they live at the royal family’s palace in Copenhagen.
Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are the youngest members of Princess Mary and Prince Frederik’s children. Their eldest, Prince Christian, is 13, while Princess Isabella is 11.
The real-life fairytale of Tasmanian-born Mary’s transition from normal Aussie girl to Danish royal is one of the most documented stories in the world.
Mary Donaldson, 46, met Frederik, 50, at a bar in Sydney during the 2000 Olympic Games.
She did not know he was the Crown Prince of Denmark — and the future king — until after they connected for the first time.
Mary moved to Denmark a year later, and the pair became engaged in 2003.
